生存恐怖類型的遊戲回歸！這是重新製作的高清版Resident Evil。

在1998年一支特種部隊被派去Raccoon City郊區調查離奇的殺人事件，他們抵達後受到嗜血的狗襲擊，被迫走到附近的豪宅。但是死亡的氣味籠罩當中，在沒有支援下努力求存。

圖像
  • 在更精緻的圖像下保留著恐怖感。
  • 提升顯示解像度和非靜態3D模組，令環境變得更具活力。
  • 畫面後期製作如Bloom filters並不容易在原來的版本使用，為了製作高清的圖像，令畫面更加逼真而新增這個效果。
  • 高解像度環保-我們混合高解像的靜態圖像和3D動畫模組重新製作，增加背景環境的解像度。

支援寬屏幕
  • 支援(16:9) 寬屏幕，所以玩家可以增加更大的投入感。
  • 在寬屏幕模式下，畫面自動卷軸表示，因應角色的位置，而在最頂和最底部份而自動卷軸。
  • 你可以在遊戲過程中隨時切換顯示模式。

音效&新操控方式
  • 高質量聲音 – 音頻已重新製作以提高質量的聲音，當然也支援5.1聲道輸出。
  • 新操控方式
  • 你可以使用原來的操控方式或使用備用操控方式來進行遊戲，只需按下Analog Stick就可以朝你想的方向移動。
  • 你可以在遊戲過程中隨時切換操控方式。
