Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20-jarig jubileum komt dan uit en bevat de game plus seizoenspas met gloednieuwe content. Verken Croft Manor in de nieuwe verhaallijn Bloedband en verdedig het landhuis tegen een invasie van zombies in Lara’s Nachtmerrie. Overleef samen met een vriend de meest extreme omstandigheden in de nieuwe online coöpmodus Uithoudingsvermogen, en speel de nieuwe moeilijkheidsgraad Extreme overlever uit. Je krijgt ook een outfit en wapen in de stijl van Tomb Raider III en 5 klassieke Lara-skins. De bestaande downloadable content daagt je uit om een nieuwe graftombe met een gevaar uit de oudheid te verkennen in Baba Yaga: De Tempel van de Heks, en het op te nemen tegen hordes besmette roofdieren in Koude Duisternis Ontwaakt.

Belangrijkste kenmerken:
  • Lara's reis: Wanneer Lara een oud geheim ontdekt, trekt dat de aandacht van de meedogenloze organisatie die bekend staat als Trinity. Terwijl ze zich haast om het geheim eerder dan Trinity te vinden, leidt het spoor naar de mythische Verloren Stad van Kitezh. Lara weet dat ze de Verloren Stad en haar geheimen eerder dan Trinity moet bereiken. Daarom vertrekt ze naar Siberië voor haar eerste grafroofexpeditie.
  • Vrouw versus Wildernis: In “Rise of the Tomb Raider” strijd Lara niet alleen tegen vijanden van over de hele wereld, maar ook tegen de wereld zelf. Jaag op dieren om er wapens van te maken, en speur naar zeldzame grondstoffen in dichtbevolkte ecosystemen. Trek door even prachtige als vijandige omgevingen, vol verraderlijke omstandigheden en onstabiele landschappen die Lara dwingen tot het uiterste te gaan.
  • Guerrillagevechten: Gebruik de omgeving in je voordeel, klim in bomen en duik in water om vijanden te ontwijken of te verrassen. Kies voor een heimelijke of aanvallende speelstijl en pas Lara's uitrusting, wapens en munitie daar op aan. Fabriceer onderweg explosieven om chaos te veroorzaken, en maak handig gebruik van Lara's kenmerkende boog en klimbijl.
  • Keer terug naar het grafroven: De tombes zijn terug, mooier en beter dan ooit. In “Rise of the Tomb Raider” verken je enorme, ontzagwekkende oude ruimtes vol dodelijke vallen. Ontdek een wereld vol geheimen, kraak spannende omgevingspuzzels en ontcijfer oeroude teksten om crypten te onthullen.
